I’ve been seeing a ton of headlines and social media chatter about TikTok being next on the chopping block—especially here in the U.S. Some people are saying it’s inevitable due to national security worries, while others argue it’s just political grandstanding. What’s the real story here?

In 2024 it was proposed to ban TikTok, but when president Trump came into office the 2025 deadline was extended until September. We are still yet to see what happens. However it doesn’t look likely TikTok will be banned.

TikTok growth was too much, owned by china. Tons of buying followers and likes which made it look suspect
