What’s the best way to grow a large number of connections on LinkedIn without coming across as spammy or desperate? I see people with thousands of connections and I’m wondering how they got there. Are you just sending out a ton of requests, or is there a smarter strategy that actually works?
Thanks so much, really need to expand my LinkedIn network.
Honestly, yeah, blasting out tons of random requests on LinkedIn can come off kinda desperate. People get tons of spam requests these days and they end up ignoring them. What’s worked better for me is just posting a few times a week, stuff like quick tips, questions, or updates, and commenting on other people’s stuff. People start sending you requests after a while but it does take time for sure.
If you want to speed things up, you can also check out Growthoid. It basically grows your LinkedIn by connecting you with the right people. Some people use it to buy LinkedIn connections, and it’s more targeted than spammy. Just make sure your profile’s solid first.
Hope that helps!
You can read this other thread where it explains where to buy Linkedin connections, it covers the best sites to buy from which cuts straight to the point, these are sites that are trusted and tested by professionals.
Yeah, I agree… Don’t spam out tones of requests that probably won’t work too well..
