Thinking about starting on Twitch. How much do beginner streamers realistically make starting out? Is it just from subs or are there other ways to make money too?
Well, just like with any other social network, making money on Twitch could be slow at first, most beginners don’t make much. But if you’re consistent and interact with your chat, and produce standout streams and content, it can definitely grow. There is huge potential to monetize twitch streams. You can earn money from things like Twitch bits, subscriptions, gifts, and so much more.
Some new streamers buy Twitch viewers to give their stream a boost in numbers and make it look active, so it’s not a bad move if you pair it with solid content and keep grinding. Make sure you have a Twitch content strategy in place and you’ll probably do great.
Like Hamish said, it really boils down to the number of views, I believe you need to meet a certain criteria before you can join the partner program, then you should focus on creating a loyal fanbase and drive up the view counts!
